Autumn

While I was skating down the local roller rink, as a shameless self promoter telling everyone interested what I do for a living, I had a request from a fellow lover of anything on wheels, to do a custom cruiser in her favourite colours, green and orange! At first I was stumped how could I put these two together??? Then as I was pondering I thought of nature and colours in Autumn. And so I got underway.

The Base Bike

I started with this very mundane 26″ cruiser.

The Green

I went with a vibrant and leafy green colour.

The Orange

It was hard to find an golden redy orange to mix with the green but it came in the form of a colour used on BMW’s a sunburnt orange.

Wheels

I knew that a standard black wheel would just be to bland it needed something just to break up the black. Although finding a tyre in the same orange I used was impossible, the spoke nipples were spot on.
